Everyone knows that NCLB has increased the need for accountability.  DSS provides school systems, schools, and individual teachers with the tools to analyze diagnostic, formative, and summative test data aligned with local and state standards.  If you are using diagnostic testing, benchmark testing, or predictor testing to measure student progress, DSS provides the means to collect, process and report data using low-cost scanners and traditional bubbles sheets.

Using reports from DSS, teachers can identify students at-risk of failing standardized tests and provide intervention strategies before the test dates;
teachers can discover knowledge or skill gaps in small groups or all students and adjust lesson plans and teaching practices accordingly;
departments can distinguish school wide trends and better align their curriculum, both horizontally and vertically; and school systems can spot division-wide trends and adjust curriculum as necessary.
